As we are living in a country with a massive rate of poverty, lack of resources, and an increasing rate of child labor. To give awareness about education to the uneducated people is way more difficult. They prefer money to educate their children. They sacrifice their children’s future for the sake of daily food. This is all due to the arising of poverty and hunger. They are helpless. So, we took this challenge to at least be the helping hand for those who want to get their children educated and have a better future ahead. We planned to provide the resources for those children who have not enough resources to full their educational expenses and are unable to go to school. Because it is our mission statement as well the “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” — Nelson Mandela.

For this noble cause, we came to know that there is an organization founded by our previous batch fellows and they are working in so many social institutions e.g. ration drives, helping the poor, education for underprivileged children, medical emergencies, and blood donations. So we collaborated with them to flourish our noble purpose. The co-founder Mr. Umer Farooq welcomed me with both hands and helped to understand the motive and guided how to achieve it.

Action Plan:

So, we planned to start with two children of a family, whose mother has been passed and their father wants to educate them, but haven’t any resources. Due to the current pandemic situation, he’s barely able to feed the family two times a day as he’s a daily wager and works as an electrician. So we managed to convince him that we are going to facilitate the children in getting admission to the schools established by the Government of Pakistan the meet their expenses easily. To prolong this, we are going to get some permanent potential donors with the help of the Rab Raziq team and our social & professional circle. Our group is so enthusiastic in this case that even everyone is willing to contribute on their own as well. It shows the real dedication towards the goal. So our target is to provide the children with uniforms, bags, stationery, and transportation expenses on monthly basis. Fortunately, their father has agreed that he will take care of the payment he’ll receive and will do the relevant expenses only. Because he’s also willing to get their children educated.

Duties and Responsibilities:

So, we are 7 persons in a group. I belong to the Faisalabad city. 3 of our other male members belong to Lahore City. And three of our female members belong to the surroundings of Lahore and Faisalabad. At the start, I preferred to find children in Lahore. Because three males can go through the whole process easier. But unfortunately, they couldn’t find any. So, I managed to find these four children mentioned above in my surroundings. So the action plan here is that I, Zain Ahsan, is going to perform the fieldwork like, visiting the schools, provide facilities to the children, and buy things for them. Further, I divided my team into two sub-groups. Males and females. Males, as they belong to the same city as well, will try to find potential donors for these children on a long-term basis. Further, one of our fellows, Amir is going to help me out in taking care of all the accounts keeping matters. Waleed will be looking for the donors full time. Hassan, Maria, and Fatima are incorporated with the Rab Raziq social media team to work on social media. So, with the strength of this whole team effort, guidance from the Rab Raziq Team, and help from Allah, we’ll meet our target very soon, and surely will enhance it as much as we can. In Sha Allah!
